About me
Hey there! My name is Lars. I am a learning hobby photographer based in Hamburg, Germany. I started my journey in 2023, so I am still quite new to the party. However, I offer my services for free, and I am always striving for opportunities to get better!

Impressions
Here are a few (non-portrait) pictures I shot over the course of the past few years. So far, I have been following different styles and techniques, always trying to keep an open mind and try out new things. However, in the future, I will start focussing more on things that make a picture fantastic for me personally, which are contrasts, hidden beauty, and the capturing of true emotions. Hence, I will focus more on portraits and working with people.
Moral Code For Photo Shoots
My general policy is that you 'own' all pictures of yourself.
Hence, when I take pictures of you, I will keep them on my devices to review and learn from them. However, before posting any of the pictures anywhere, I will always ask for your written permission to do so. I will never post any of your pictures without permission to do so.
In other words: For a photo shooting, the worst case is a wasted afternoon with a few bad pictures as a result. The best case is a fantastic afternoon with some great pictures you can use arbitrarily.
That’s the deal. Nothing more – nothing less.

The Shooting!
After agreeing on the details, the only thing left to do is to get the equipment and take some pictures!
Sorting Phase
After the shooting, it will take some time to sort the pictures. I will do my best to get back to you as fast as possible!
Delivery
After sorting, you will receive your pictures in full-quality. You can do whatever you want with them!
Publishing (Optional)
If you are fine with that, I might post the pictures here or on other channels such as the Fotocommunity, TFP or Instagram. Of course, if you want, I can also mention and link your socials.

"Are you a professional?"
Nope. Photography is a hobby I've been doing since 2023, and always look for new motives, perspectives, and people to learn from. :)
"I think about getting (free) pictures taken of me, what should I do?"

"I am interested in modeling, but I don't feel very photogenic..."
I believe that humans are inherently beautiful and that photo shootings can greatly increase one's confidence and self-perception. In addition, I promise you to not post the pictures anywhere without your explicit consent. No pressure of any kind.
"What if I have no idea for a photo shooting?"
No problem at all. Everybody is different and if you don't have a specific idea yet, we can explore different options and find something that you would like me to capture, such as a hobby of yours, an emotion, a moment with your pet, or just your favorite outfit.
"Are there any limits as to the things you would try?"
Not really. As long as it's lawful, I am willing to try pretty much anything, and I am always excited to try out new stuff. I can't promise optimal results for things I have no experience with, but I will always try my best to create pictures that both of us can be proud of.
"What camera do you use?"
It depends! I use a wide variety of different cameras, from 10€ plastic film cameras to my full format Canon system(s). Hence, what I use heavily depends on the kind of picture I would like to take. If we met for a standard portrait shooting, I'd probably bring my R6 and a 85mm F/1.8 lens by default. However, if you'd like a more fashion-y look, why not try a wide angle lens? And for dramatic low light shots, why not give a roll of ISO 800 cinefilm a shot?
"Where else can I contact you?"
I'm not using Instagram (yet?). However, feel free to check out my accounts in the fotocommunity or on TFP as well. :)
